Transforming the east side into a vibrant “smart growth” community

How will East Frederick Rising proceed? By involving the whole community in planning the east side’s rebirth. The planning process will involve property owners, citizens, businesses, and local government.

East Frederick Rising’s role is to bring everyone together and coordinate their efforts. We’ll:

• Get information out to these stakeholders (prepare reports)
• Solicit input from them (conduct surveys)
• Facilitate communication (meetings, online forums, email lists)
• Shape policy (define principles and guidelines, form strategy)
