Building a Great Community

We’d like to help build a community on the east side of town that’s:

• Friendly and close-knit
  There are convenient spaces where people can gather.
• Economically prosperous
  Businesses have readily available sources of customers and workers.
• Healthy and safe
  Citizens can walk to where they want to go. They’re protected from traffic.
• Pleasant to live in
  Wooded streets and parks create a sense of calm and look beautiful.

To do this, we must change Frederick’s zoning practices, adhere to the principles of “smart growth,” and employ modern transit systems.

If we do these things, Fredericktonians will get a whole host of benefits.
