East Frederick Rising is an organization founded to provide programs, offer services and engage in other activities that promote and support the east side of Frederick.

It was founded in 2005 by Alan Feinberg, a local architect and planner. In 2008 Frederick’s former Mayor Ron Young became the President of the organization.
